Vu Ha, based in Kirkland, WA, US, is currently a Technical Director at AI2 Incubator. Vu Ha brings experience from previous roles at Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) and Microsoft. Marc Manara leads the global Startups, VC, & Private Equity Teams at OpenAI. Before OpenAI, Marc led a startups team at AWS and co-founded a startup called Farm Hill. Earlier in his career, Marc served as an engineer at enterprise software firm Appian and later an investor at Acumen, a global impact investment fund. Marc studied computer science at Harvard and has an MBA from Stanford.

Napol is the CTO and Co-Founder of Edsy, where he is building an AI tutor for English classrooms that combines real-time feedback, adaptive learning, and research-driven pedagogy to support both students and teachers. He earned his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, focusing on building machine learning models and AI systems to understand and improve human learning. Previously, he spent time at Microsoft Research, AI2, and on the OS and Azure teams at Microsoft in the US.

Benjamin recently received his Ph.D. in Robotics from the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on 3D geometric reasoning for robotic manipulation, with an emphasis on getting robots to learn new manipulation skills from very small amounts of data.

Microsoft

Dr. William Tjhi has nearly two decades of experience in applying machine learning to industry problems. He earned his PhD from NTU in 2008, focusing on unsupervised learning for text data. His career includes time at A*STAR, where he scaled up ML with distributed systems, and at GovTech, where he contributed to early data science efforts. As the lead NLP at Traveloka, he tackled the challenges of NLP in low-resource Bahasa Indonesia, inspiring him to initiate a program for building NLP resources for Southeast Asian languages at AI Singapore. William was a foundational engineer for AI Singapore's 100 Experiments and AI Apprenticeship Program. Currently, he leads applied research on Regional LLMs in AI Singapore's AI Products division, provides AI technical advisory to MDDI Translation Technology, and actively participates in regional AI communities like Data Science Indonesia, Data Science SG, and Cambodia's AI Forum.

Dr. Leslie is Senior Director of AI Products at AI Singapore where he is tasked with catalysing the use of AI in businesses. He and his team work with companies to identify important use cases and build enabling AI products to support such use cases. Dr. Leslie is passionate about data, data science, machine learning, and AI. He pivoted from a career in economics, finance, and investing in 2019. That year, he joined Grab as Head of Data Science, Policy, and Data Initiatives and Advisor to the CEO. In that role, he sought to answer critical business and social questions using data and build products that provided relevant insights, such as congestion patterns and creating safer bike paths. He helped lay the foundation for the data science and analytics role at Grab and Singtel’s digital bank (GxS). After Grab, Dr. Leslie was Managing Director at Great Eastern Life Insurance for Data and Strategic Transformation. He and his team were responsible for enabling data analytics and data science across the organisation and fostering business transformation capabilities to deliver value in areas such as distribution, marketing, risk management and digital products. Before Grab, Dr. Leslie was the Director of the Economics and Investment Strategy Department and Chief Economist at GIC Private Limited, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. He oversaw the team responsible for asset allocation, total portfolio construction, systematic investing, and identifying critical long-term trends that would impact GIC’s portfolio. He remains an advisor to the government on reserve management issues. Dr. Leslie was also at the International Monetary Fund. During his Fund career, he worked on financial sector restructuring, financial stability, public debt management, monetary policy and operations. He was also Head of the Financial Surveillance Division at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Dr. Leslie has a strong belief in education. He was a Board member of the Pacific Pension and Investment Institute and the National University of Singapore. He was a Vice President of the Economic Society of Singapore, chaired the advisory board for NUS’ Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and advised NUS’ Investment Committee and Business School. Dr.Leslie has a Liberal Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of Rochester. He has a Master’s in Information and Data Science from the University of California at Berkeley. In addition, he is a certified Financial Risk Manager and a CFA charter holder.
